Several recreational clubs operate at our company, and we cooperate with a variety of service providers. Entrepreneurs in the region offer our personnel discounts on products and services. We’ll tell you more about Meyer Turku’s employment benefits when we meet and when you start work.

1. Pay, bonuses and stability

 Meyer Turku always observes the valid collective agreements when paying wages. Our wages fall into the mid-range for industrial employers, but the pay for an individual employee always depends on the position and the person’s experience.

When a ship is completed on time and meets the quality criteria, a ship bonus can be paid to the entire shipyard personnel. Our order book is fuller than ever before, and that makes us a reliable and good employer in terms of wage payment – our employees can plan their future with confidence.

2. Healthcare services

The shipyard has its own occupational healthcare centre that also includes a physiotherapy clinic. Occupational healthcare provides a diverse range of services and is part of every employee’s career, starting with the very first medical examination. One of the goals is to preserve working capacity – physical and psychological – throughout each person’s career.

3. Physical exercise and culture benefits

We offer our personnel physical exercise and culture benefits that can be loaded onto the Smartum Saldo card. Our employees also receive a discount on gym services and various recreational facilities through our cooperation partners.

We also have a number of different physical exercise and leisure-time clubs representing activities that range from various ball games to aerobics and shooting as well as clubs for people interested in orienteering and fishing. The shipyard has its own gym, which is available to employees free of charge outside working hours.

Spas and travel agencies offer our personnel various benefits and discounts on accommodation and services, which may vary according to the season or month. Many of these benefits are available to Meyer Turku Oy personnel and their families.

Our personnel can also purchase tickets to cultural events at a lower price.

4. Housing

VVO gives Meyer Turku Oy employees the opportunity to rent an apartment without a security deposit.
