Do you dream of a career in shipbuilding? Meyer Turku’s Shipbuilding School organises various training programmes in cooperation with our shipyard’s subsidiaries and partners.
Our recruitment training programmes give you an opportunity to retrain for a new career. Our work-oriented training programmes qualify you for a specific job or profession. The paid training lasts six months and includes on-the-job learning and practical training with an instructor as well as theoretical instruction.
We invite potential candidates to an interview based on applications, so make sure to fill in your application carefully and tell us why you want to participate in our training. Those who complete the training successfully are hired by Meyer Turku.

Retraining programmes for career changers
A paid retraining programme is a safe way to change careers. The six-month training programme is intended for people with basic training in engineering interested in marine engineering. We are looking for ship designers for the Meyer Turku shipyard and our subsidiaries. No previous experience in the marine industry is required of the applicants. The training is in Finnish, so the participants are expected to be proficient in Finnish.
