We are now looking for  

Business Intelligence Specialist

to work at our shipyard site in Turku, Finland. 

The role 

As Business Intelligence Specialist, your responsibilities include creating holistic, up-to-date view of the business environment of Meyer Turku by combining external data and information with internal insight into cruising and shipbuilding businesses. You are also responsible for updating and developing the external information database. In addition, you participate in business environment risks evaluation. Collaborating closely with external data/information providers and internal stakeholders is an integral part of your daily work. 

You will report to the Head of Strategic Planning of Meyer Turku in Strategy and Transformation team. 

You 

We are looking for a candidate with a relevant educational background (Masters in Science, Engineering, Economics or Business Administration, or equivalent) and preferably at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You have the ability to analyze data/information, including financial information, and to make assumptions based on insufficient data/information, complemented with prepared discussions. Excellent modelling and quantification skills are also necessary in this role. Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Power Point as well as Power BI, is a must. 

As a person you are goal oriented and willing to explore and find the best solutions. You enjoy collaboration and building bridges across organizational boundaries and want to continuously develop yourself and the ways of working. You communicate effectively in English. Fluent Finnish is a plus.
